Here is an explanation:
area of segment = area of sector minus area of triangle
area of segment = (30/360)*(22/7)*7^2 cm^2 minus 25/2cm^2 .
area of segment = 77/6 minus 25/2 = (77-75)/6 =1/3cm^2
area of segment = 1/3 cm^2
