percentage error=(error/actual value)*100
5=((x-3.99)/x)*100
5x=(x-3.99)*100
5x=100x-399
5x-100x=-399
-95x=-399
x=399/95
=4.2

-95x=-399

x=-399/-95

x=4.2cm
