Geography and any two (2) other Arts or Social Science subjects
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVERS) REMARKS
CALABAR requires English Language and any other three subjects from Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities or Sciences
O'level Requirements
Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Geography and any three (3) from Arts or Social Science subjects with 'O' Level pass in Mathematics
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVERS) REMARKS
(i) UNICAL accepts Five (5) O Level Credits passes in English Language, Mathematics, Tourism/Geography/Civic Education and any other two from Social Sciences, Humanities or Sciences in not more than two sittings from West African School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level or NECO.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVERS) REMARKS
(i)UNICAL accepts In addition to the general UTME requirement above, candidates must possess a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE): in Geography, Economics, Social Studies or any other related area. National Diploma (ND/OND): in Leisure and Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Catering Management or any other related area at credit/merit level and above from a recognized institution. Candidates with Higher National Diploma (HND) in related fields at lower credit with an average of 3 points from recognized institutions are qualified for direct entry admission.
