International Relations can be studied under the Social & Management Sciences in the following Nigerian Universities;

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study International Relations under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Economics, Literature in English and Geography/Government/History.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) SWU requires Mathematics and any two (2) of the following: Economics, History, Government, Geography, Literature in English and French
(ii) BUK requires Government or History plus two (2) other Social Science subjects.
(iii) BU requires Mathematics, Government/History, and Economics.
(iv) CCU requires any three (3) Arts or Social Science subjects.
(v) LANDMARK requires Government or History plus two other Arts/Commercial/Social Science subjects.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study International Relations;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Government or History and three (3) relevant subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) CU requires five 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, one science subject from the following (Biology, Health/ General Science, Agricultural Science, Physics and Chemistry) and either of Geography, Government, Accounting, Book Keeping, and Commerce.
(ii) GOUNI – require credit pass in Mathematics
(iii) SWU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes including English Language, Government and Mathematics and any other two (2) relevant subjects.
(iv) BU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Government and any two (2) Social Science subjects from Economics, Civics Geography, and History.
(v) UNIKINGS same as in Political Science.
(vi) WELLSPRING accepts a pass in Mathematics provided the candidate has a total of five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes including English language, Government/History, and Economics.
(vii) LANDMARK requires Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Government or History or Civil education and at least a pass in a science subject or a credit level pass in an Art /Social science /Commercial subjects.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study International Relations, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Social Science subject from Government/History, Economics, Sociology and Business Management.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) SWU accepts IJMB, NCE, ND, HND, or equivalents.
(ii) GOUNI requires two (2) 'A' Level passes in Social Science subject from Government or History, Economics, Sociology and Business Management. BSc, BA or HND in Local Government Administration, Public Administration and Political Science.
(iii) MCU accepts JUPEB/IJMB ('A' Level) or its equivalent in related programmes.
(iv) ODUDUWA accepts NCE merit in relevant subjects.
(v) BU requires two (2) 'A' Level passes to include Government and any one of Economics, Geography, History and Mathematics.
(vi) UNIKINGS same as in Political Science.
(vii) WELLSPRING accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes (including NABTEB).
(viii) LANDMARK accepts Two (2) A-Level passes in Social Science subject from Government/History, Economics, Sociology, and Business Management.
