In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Geography and Planning under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Geography and any Arts or Social Sciences subjects
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVERS) REMARK
(i) AAUA requires Geography, Mathematics and any other Science or Social Science subjects.
(ii) LASU also accepts Science subjects.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Geography and Planning;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English language, Mathematics and Geography.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVERS) REMARK
(i) AAUA requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Geography and two other Social Science or Science subjects.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Geography and Planning, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;Two (2) 'A' Level passes including Geography
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVERS) REMARK
(i) AAUA in addition to 'O' Level requirements:
a. candidates must have must pass Geography and one other social science or science subject at A/L
b. ND (Upper Credit) in Town Planning, Surveying, Environmental Management, Estate Management and Urban & Regional Planning.
c. NCE Geography or Geography related combination with minimum of credit pass and other relevant subjects.
(ii) LASU accepts 'A' Level pass in any one of Economics, Government, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics
