In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Finance under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Finance;
You require;Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other relevant subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIILORIN requires 'O; level credit passes in any three of Accounting, Business Method, Commerce, Geography, Economics, Statistics and Government.
(ii) AUN accepts:
(a) 'A' level passes chosen from English Language, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Literature in English, Government, History, Economics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Civics, and French.
(b) does not accept credit passes in the following; Agriculture, Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, Home Craft, Home management, Physical Education, Physical and Health Education, Music, Commerce, Accounting, Financial Accounting, Book keeping, Islamic History, Religious Studies, Tajweed, Library Studies, Diction, Kiswahili, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Arabic, Turkish, Study skills.
(c) accepts ICGSE and 'A' level Cambridge and does not offer admissions direct to 200 level programs. May transfer credits relevant to it's major at the discretion of the Dean of school
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Finance, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;Two ‘A’ level passes including Economics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIILORIN requires 'A' level passes in Accounting and at least one of Mathematics, Business Management, Economics, Statistics, Geography and Government plus UTME requirements.
(II) UNIILORIN Accepts National Diploma in Accounting/Finance plus UTME.
