In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Mathematics and Economics under the Faculty of Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Mathematics, Economics and any other Science or Social Science subject
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Mathematics and Economics;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) subjects selected from Science or Social Sciences at not more than two (2)sittings.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIBEN accepts Mathematics, Economics and any of Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Geography and Government
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Mathematics and Economics, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;(i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes at not more than two (2) sittings. The subjects should include Mathematics and Economics
(ii) ND upper credit in Mathematics/Statistics , Computer Science, Accounting or Business Studies from a recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology
(iii) HND lower credit in Mathematics/Statistics , Computer Science, Accounting or Business Studies from a recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology
(iv) NCE credit in Mathematics and Economics from a recognized College of Education. In addition candidates should have merit
