In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Information Science And Media Studies under the Faculty of Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Mathematics, Physics and one (1) of Biology, Chemistry, Agric Science, Economics and Geography
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Information Science And Media Studies;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics plus two (2) other Science subjects.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Information Science And Media Studies, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;(i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in science subjects including Mathematics
(ii) NCE merit in Mathematics and one (1) other Science or Social Science subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) BUK accepts:
(a) ND in Computer Science or Computer Studies, NCE in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics.
(b) HND in relevant programmes: Computer Science, Graphics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical/Electronics.
(c) B.Sc. Degree Natural Science, Physical Science, & Environmental Science.
