Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Geology and Exploration Geophysics under the Faculty of Sciences in the above listed universities include;

Any three of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology and Geography.

O'Level Requirements

The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Geology and Exploration Geophysics;

You require; Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other subject.



SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) EBSU requires five SSCE credit passes including English
Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two sittings.

(ii) EBSU requires 'five O' level credit passes in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
EBSU does not accept physically challenged candidates because of the strenuous nature and the requirement of transversing difficult terrains and mountainous areas.

Direct Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Geology and Exploration Geophysics, if you don't intend to use UTME.

You require; (i) Two 'A' level passes from Geology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Geography.



SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) EBSU accepts HND, NCE and ND with a minimum of Merit and Upper credit respectively in the relevant fields.
