Subject Combination JAMB UTME Requirements
Mathematics, Physics and one (1) of Biology, Chemistry, Agric Science, Economics and Geography
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) FUD requires Chemistry or Biology as the third subject.
(ii) FUD accepts Mathematics, Physics and one other relevant Science-based subject from Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Agriculture Science, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing and Economics.
(iii) FUTA requires Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
(iv) AFIT-DEG requires Mathematics, Physics and any other subject from Chemistry, Geography and Biology
O'level Requirements
Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics plus two (2) other Science subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) FUTA requires five (5) 'O' Level credit pass at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry plus one (1) other Science subject
(ii) FUTA requires five (5) SSCE credit passes or its equivalent at a maximum of two (2) sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/ Agricultural Science.
(iii) BUK accepts five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, plus three of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Agriculture or Economics
(iv) FUD requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two relevant Science-based subjects from Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Geography, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing and Economics in not more than two sittings
(v) NDA requires two (2) other Science subjects from Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Biology and Computer Science.
Direct Entry Requirements
(i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in science subjects including Mathematics
(ii) NCE merit in Mathematics and one (1) other Science or Social Science subject
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) AL-HIKMAH accepts two (2) 'A' Level passes in Mathematics and Physics and accepts ND/HND lower credit in Data processing and Computer Science from recognized institution
(ii) CALEB: candidates with ND credit in Computer Science or Sciences related programmes may be considered for admission by direct entry provided they have the UTME subjects at one (1) sitting.
(iii) BUK accepts;
(a) ND in Computer Science or Computer Studies, NCE in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics.
(b) HND in relevant programmes: Computer Science, Graphics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical/Electronics.
(c) B.Sc. Degree Natural Science, Physical Science, & Environmental Science
(iv) FUD requires ND/IJMB/NCE Certificate in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and Electrical Electronics Engineering with
a) minimum 8 points
b) minimum Lower Credit from Institution recognised by Government and accredited by NBTE
