Subject Combination JAMB UTME Requirements
Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and Mathematics/ Physics
O'level Requirements
Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics and Physics/Geography/Economics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARK
(i) FUNNAB requires;
(a) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(b) at least 'O' Level pass in Physics.
(c) candidates with 'O' Level pass in Biology must possess 'O' Level credit pass in Agricultural Science. Does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.
(ii) UI - The sixth (6th) subject for candidates presenting two (2) 'O’ Level results could be Geography or Economics.
Direct Entry Requirements
Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Botany/Agric Science/Zoology/Physics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARK
(i) UI accepts HND upper credit into 200 level with exemption from the practical year programme and ND/NCE upper credit into 100 level with full participation in practical year programme in Aquaculture and Fisheries, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Health and related programs. Accepts 'A’ Level passes in Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Physics or Mathematics into 200 level with full participation in practical year programme.
(ii) FUNNAB accept;
(a) Two (2) ‘A’ Level credit passes in Chemistry and one of Zoology/Botany/Agricultural Science/Biology, Mathematics or Physics.
(b) ND/HND upper credit in Agriculture from a recognised institution in any one (1) of Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Fisheries, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Agricultural Technology plus the UTME requirements
(c) NCE credit in Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics plus the UTME requirements.
