Mathematics, Physics and one of Biology, Chemistry, Agric Science, Economics and Geography

 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) UNILORIN requires Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.

O'level Requirements

Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics plus two other science subjects

 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) UNILORIN five (5) O-level (WASCE/GCE/NECO) credits in five subjects including Mathematics, English language, Physics, Chemistry any of Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Economics and Geography
 

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Telecommunication Science in the Faculty of Sciences are as follows:

(i) Two A/L passes in science subjects including Mathematics

(ii) NCE with at least Merit in Mathematics and one other Science or Social Science subject.

 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) UNILORIN require UTME qualifications plus any of;

a)    A minimum score of 10 points with two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Physics.

b)    National Diploma (at least Upper Credit) from recognized Polytechnic.

c)    Higher National Diploma (at least Lower Credit) in Computer Science from recognized Polytechnic. Diploma in Data Processing is NOT acceptable.

For Information and Communication Science, ILORIN requires;

a)    At least 8 points in ‘A’ Level or equivalence in a minimum of three relevant subjects from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Economics/Geography and Computer Studies.

b)   Candidates with Upper Credit in the National Diploma (ND) in the physical sciences and engineering disciplines may be considered for direct entry.

For telecommunication Science, ILORIN requires the following in addition to UTME qualifications;

a)    “A” Level Passes or equivalent in  Mathematics, Physics and any one of the following  Chemistry and  Biology and Geography.

b)   Upper Credit in the National Diploma (ND) and a minimum of one-year post qualification Industrial attachment in the physical sciences and engineering disciplines.

For Library and Information Science, ILORIN requires the following in addition to UTME qualification

a)    Two (2) passes in any subject area at Advanced Level with SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level credit passes in three other  subjects in not more than two (2) sittings.

b)   Three (3) passes in any subject area at Advanced Level with SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level Credit Passes in two (2) other subjects in not more than two (2) sittings.

c)    National Diploma (Upper Credit) in Library and Information Science from recognized polytechnics.

d)   Diploma at Merit level in Library and Information Science from recognized universities.
