Subject Combination JAMB UTME Requirements
Mathematics and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Biology and Agricultural Science
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) FUTA accepts Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry only.
(ii) UNIBEN requires Mathematics, Physics and any of Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science and Economics.
(iii) WDU requires Mathematics and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Biology, and Agricultural Science.
(iv) EBSU accepts Statistics but does not accept Agricultural Science.
(v) DELSU requires Mathematics, Economics, and any of Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
(vi) UNILAG requires English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any of Chemistry, Economics, Biology, and Geography
O'level Requirements
Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and two (2) other Science subjects
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) EBSU accepts two (2) other 'O' Level credit passes from Biology, Economics, Physics and Statistics.
(ii) UNIBEN accepts 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science or Geography.
(iii) DELSU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes which must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and further mathematics.
(iv) IMSU requires 'O' Level credit pass in Chemistry and also accepts 'O' Level pass in English Language.
(v) FUTA requires 'O' Level credit pass in Chemistry.
(vi) WDU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Geography, any two (2) Science subjects.
(vii) AAUA requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and two (2) other Science subjects.
(viii) FUTA requires 'O' Level credit pass in Chemistry.
(ix) UNILAG requires Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and any one of Economics, Chemistry and Geography
Direct Entry Requirements
(i) Two (2) 'A' level passes from Mathematics, Physics, Economics or Chemistry.
(ii) NCE merit in relevant subjects.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) EBSU accepts 'A' Level passes in Mathematics and any one of Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, Economics, Physics, Statistics and Agricultural Science. It also accepts HND, ND upper credit and NCE merit respectively in the relevant programmes/subjects.
(ii) DELSU accepts at least two (2) 'A' Level GCE passes which must include Mathematics and any other Social Science and Science subjects.
(iii) FUTA accepts
(a) two (2) 'A' Level passes in Science subjects including Mathematics and Physics.
(b) ND upper credit in Computer Science.
(c) NCE credit in Computer Science/Mathematics, Computer Science/Physics, Mathematics/Physics.
(iv) UNIBEN - Same as in Mathematics
(v) WUSTO same as in Mathematics.
(vi) WDU accepts
(a) two (2) 'A' level passes to include Mathematics, Physics, Economics or Chemistry.
(b) ND/NCE merit in relevant subjects
(vii) AAUA requires 'A' Level passes in both Mathematics and Physics and also accepts ND lower credit in Computer Science, Statistics or any other related programmes.
(viii) UNILAG accepts Very good passes in the following three (3) JUPEB/’A’-level subjects: Physics, Mathematics and any one(1) of Chemistry, Biology, Economics and Geography and requires ‘O’ level credit pass in Further Mathematics. Does not accept NCE.
