(i) FED-DUTSE:
(a) For Environmental Management and Toxicology requires Chemistry, and two (2) of Physics, Biology and Mathematics

(ii) FUPRE requires Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Physics

O'level Requirements

Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics


SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) FED-DUTSE;
(a) For Environmental Management and Toxicology accepts Five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at SSC level or its equivalent to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography and Biology or Agric. Science, in not more than two (2) sittings. Candidates must also have at least pass in Physics

(ii) BSU for Microbiology accepts passes in five (5) prescribed subjects in Preliminary Science of BSU in addition to the UTME requirements.

(iii) WESTERN-DEL – For Environmental Management and Toxicology accepts 'O' Level credit passes in Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology and Geography in lieu of Physic

(iv) FUPRE requires five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics, or a pass in Physics and a credit pass in Geography, Agricultural Science, Computer Studies/Health Education, Fisheries/Tourism

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Environmental Management And Toxicology in the Faculty of Sciences are as follows:

Two ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one from Biology, Zoology or Botany


SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) FUD- For Environmental Management and Toxicology: GCE ‘A’ Level, IJMB, NCE-Minimum of Credit Pass or OND Minimum of Lower Credit (i.e total minimum score of eight (8) points). NCE and OND courses are those with bias in Applied Science

(ii) BSU for Environmental Management and Toxicology accepts holders of ND/HND (upper credit) in Health Technology, Agriculture and other related fields.

(iii) WDU requires two (2) ' 'A' Level passes in Biology and any one (1) of Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics. It accepts ND in Biology and Chemistry.

(ix) MOUAU-  requires 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Botany/Zoology.

(v) UNIBEN in addition to the UTME requirements, accepts

(a) ND upper credit / HND lower credit in Food Technology or Science Laboratory Technology

(b) NCE Merit with 'O' Level credit pass in Biology.

 (vi) CALEB accepts ND credit in Science Laboratory Technology or Sciences related programmes for admission by direct entry provided they have the UTME subjects at one (1) sitting.

(vii) FUOYE - Direct Entry candidates in addition to having five (5) credits at SSC, obtain a minimum of upper credit in OND in a relevant Biological Science course, minimum of ‘B’ grade in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in IJMB and overall ‘B’ grade in relevant courses or subjects in N.C.E

(viii) FUPRE requires two (2) A level passes in Chemistry and Biology.
