Islamic / Sharia Law can be studied under the Law in the following Nigerian Universities;

Subject Combination JAMB UTME Requirements

Any three (3) Arts or Social Science subjects including Arabic or Islamic Studies



SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) ABU requires Arabic or Islamic Studies and any other two Arts or Social Science subjects.

(ii) UNIMAID requires any three from Government, Economics, Geography or Arts subjects including Arabic or Islamic Studies.

O'level Requirements

Five (5)'O' Level credit passes in Arts or Social Sciences to include English Language and Islamic Studies or Arabic.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) KSU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Literature in English and three (3) other relevant Arts, Social Science, or Science subjects.

(ii) ABU requires Five ‘O’ Level Credit passes which must include English Language, Arabic Language/Islamic Studies and any other three Arts or Social Science Subjects

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Islamic / Sharia Law in the Faculty of Law are as follows:

Two ‘A’ level passes to include Islamic Studies or Arabic

 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) ABU accepts Two ‘A’ Level/IJMB passes in IRK/Arabic and any other Arts or Social Science subjects ABU Diploma in Shari’ah and Civil Law with at least Merit Grade
