O'level Requirements

Five SSCE credit passes in Physic, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and Biolog

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

i) ABU accepts five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and any other science subject.

ii) UNILORIN accepts Ordinary level (WASC, NECO) Credits in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Water Resources and Environmental Engr. in the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology are as follows:

‘A’ level passes must include Physics or Chemistry, and Mathematics

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) ABU requires:
i. GCE ‘A’ level or IJMB passes in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
ii. ND with Upper credit in Water Resources or Civil Engineering or related field from accredited institution.
iii. HND with at least Lower credit level in Water Resources or Civil Engineering or related field from accredited institution.

(ii) UNILORIN – A candidate for direct entry must possess UTME Ordinary level requirements as stated: Plus GCE or IJMB Advanced level or equivalent qualification in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. OR National Diploma (at least Upper Credit) in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering.
