(i) ABU requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and any other subject
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Textile Science and Technology;
You require;Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Fine Art, Mathematics, Chemistry. Spinning; Weaving; Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Ceramics; Graphic Design; Graphic Printing; Decorative Painting, Spray Painting, Lining, Sign & Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing, Building/Engineering Drawing, General Wood Work.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) ABU requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and any other subject
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Textile Science and Technology, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;(i) ‘A’ level passes in Two of Fine Arts, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
(ii) ND in Industrial Design or Glass Technology or Fine Art at Credit
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) ABU accepts
a) NCE Double Major in Art and ND/HND credit in relevant programmes.
b) ‘A’ level/ IJMB passes in Chemistry, and any of Physics and Mathematics
c) ND credit in Glass Technology from any accredited institution
d) NCE credit in Chemistry.
e) HND credit in Science, Materials Science and Engineering, or in Chemical Engineering from any accredited institution
