Management Technology can be studied under the Engineering, Environment & Technology in the following Nigerian Universities;
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Management Technology under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above listed universities include;
Mathematics, Economics and any one of Chemistry, Physics or Biology
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) BELLS accepts English Language, Mathematics and any two (2) Social Science subjects.
(ii) MAUTECH requires Economics and any two (2) of Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Government, Geography and Mathematics.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Management Technology;
You require;Five SSCE credit passes to include, English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two science subjects from Chemistry,
Physics, Biology, Geography, Health Science, Metal Works, Wood Work, Agric Science, Technical Drawing, Nutrition and Food Science.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) ATBU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, one Science subject, and two (2) Commercial subjects.
(ii) BELLS require five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at one or two (2) sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics and Physics with any two (2) from Economics, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Accounting, Further Mathematics, Government, Commerce, and Agricultural Science.
(iii) MAUTECH requires 'O' Level credit passes in Economics and two (2) from Principles of Accounting/ Book-Keeping, Further Mathematics, Biology/Physics/Chemistry/Agricultural Science, Geography, Government, Civic Education, Store Management, Office Practice, Insurance, Commerce, Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Management Technology, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;Two (2) ‘A' Level passes in Economics, Accountancy, Business Management, Government and Geography. Candidate must have Science background at 'O' Level.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) ATBU accepts
a) two (2) 'A' Level passes in any of Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural
b)ND/HND lower credit and above.
(ii) MAUTECH accepts
a) ND lower credit in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration/Management, Marketing, Finance Management, Statistics, Business Education (NCE), Purchasing, Store Management, Auditing, Office Technology Management, Information Management Technology (IMT), Public Administration.
b) IJMB/ 'A' Level with at least 8 points Economics with 1 or 2 of Accounting/Book Keeping, Commerce, Geography, IMT, Government, Business Administration/Management, Statistics and Mathematics.
