SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) ABU requires Fine Arts and any two (2) other subjects.

(ii) OAU requires Fine Arts and two (2) other subjects. The two (2) subjects to be chosen from options in UTME requirements.

O'level Requirements

Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Fine Art, Mathematics, Chemistry. Spinning; Weaving; Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Ceramics; Graphic Design; Graphic Printing; Decorative Painting, Spray Painting, Lining, Sign & Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing, Building/Engineering Drawing, General Wood Work.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) ABU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes two (2) of which must include English Language and Fine Arts.

(ii) OAU accepts 'O' Level courses should include English Language, Fine Art and any three (3) of History, Religious Knowledge, Igbo, Yoruba, Literature in English, Music, French and Economics.

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Fine Art in the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology are as follows:

(i) ‘A’ level passes in Two of Fine Arts, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
(ii) ND in Industrial Design or Glass Technology or Fine Art at Credit

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

ABU accepts

a) 'A' Level/IJMB passes in Fine Arts and one other subject.

b) NCE with at least Merit Level in Fine Arts.

c) HND in Fine Arts, Theatre Art or related field at Lower credit level

(ii) OAU requires

a) candidates to submit portfolio of their work to HOD Fine Arts.

b) accepts HND upper credit to the higher levels of the course.

c) two (2) 'A' Level passes in Fine Arts and one other subject. The other subject must be History, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Music, and Literature in  English or French.
