O'level Requirements

Five SSCE credit passes including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English Language.

 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

ABU requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other Science subject. (Including Economics, Technical Drawing, Metalwork and Woodwork).

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Electrical And Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology are as follows:

(i) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Physics.

(ii) ND/HND in Elect Eng. Upper/Lower credit respectively.

 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

 

(i) ABU accepts:

a) Two A level/IJMB passes which must include Physics and Mathematics.

b) ND or equivalent in Electrical Eng. or relevant field, with a minimum of Upper Credit from an accredited institution. 

c) HND with at least lower credit in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.

d) ABU Diploma in Computer Engineering with a Minimum of Merit.

(ii) FUTMINNA accepts ND/HND lower credit in relevant programmes plus five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and one other science subject.
