In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Automotive Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above listed universities include;
Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) ABU requires Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
(ii) AFIT-DEG requires Mathematics, Physics and any other subject from Chemistry, Geography and Biology.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Automotive Engineering;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry ,English Language and any other Science subject.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT (WAIVER) REMARKS:
ABU requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other Science subject.

You require;'A' Level passes in any two (2) of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT (WAIVER) REMARKS:
ABU requires
a. Two ‘A’ level /IJMB Passes in Mathematics and Physics.
b. ND in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of Upper Credit aggregate and Distinction in Mathematics from accredited institution.
c. HND with at least Lower Credit in Mechanical Engineering from accredited institution.
