Woodwork, Metalwork, Building Technology, Electrical/Electronics Technology

Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Technology Education under the Faculty of Education in the above Universities include;

Mathematics, Physics and one other Science subject.

O'Level Requirements

The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Technology Education;

You require; Five SSCE credits to include Physics or Mathematics.


1. UNILORIN requires Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Mathematics, or Physics or any other related subject.

Direct Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Technology Education, if you don't intend to use UTME.

You require; 1. Two ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics.

2. ND with at least lower credit in Civil Engineering, Production/Elect. Engineering.

3. Final City and Guilds or its equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.

4. NCE in Technical Education plus credit pass in Physics or Mathematics.


1. UNILORIN gives special consideration to candidates with Fine Arts background and NCE (Technical) or Fine Arts plus at least credit passes in two other subjects at ‘O’ level.
