Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Secretarial Administration and Education under the Faculty of Education in the above listed universities include;

O'Level Requirements

The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Secretarial Administration and Education;

Five (5) SSC credit to include English Language, Economics and any two(2) of Government, Geography/Physics , Accounting, Business Methods, History, Shorthand, Mathematics, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, Office Practice AND Secretarial Duties.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS  

(i) UNIBEN requires Economics or Commerce but does not accept Principles of Accounts, Office Practice and Secretarial Duties.

Direct Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Secretarial Administration and Education, if you don't intend to use UTME.

(i) NCE Business Education Social Studies Secretarial Education Major.

(ii) Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Business Method and any other Social Science subject and 'O' level pass in Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

1. TASUED accepts two (2)'A' level passes/NCE credit/merit from Economics, Accounting AND Business Management or HND in Secretarial Administration with upper credit. Accepts NABTEB, NBC/NTC Certificate.

(ii) UNIBEN requires two(2) merit in NCE including Business Method, Social Studies, Secretarial Education major plus three(3) 'O’ level credit passes including English Language at one (1) sitting.
