Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements


In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Industrial Technical Education under the Faculty of Education in the above Universities include;

Mathematics, Physics and one (1) other Science subject

O'Level Requirements


The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Industrial Technical Education;

You require;

Five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include Physics or Mathematics. .
 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) UNN requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include Physics or Mathematics at GCE/SSC, NTC, City and Guilds intermediate in addition to the UTME entry requirements.

Direct Entry Requirements


These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Industrial Technical Education, if you don't intend to use UTME.

You require;

(i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Physics and Mathematics.

(ii) ND lower credit in Civil Engineering, Production/Electrical Engineering.

(iii) Final City and Guilds or its equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.

(iv) NCE credit  in Technical Education plus 'O' Level credit passes in Physics or Mathematics

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i)   UNN accepts

a. two (2)'A' Level passes in Physics and Mathematics in addition to departmental UTME requirements.

b. ND lower credit in Civil  Engineering, Production/Elect. Engineering, Drafting Technology.

c. Final City and Guilds or its equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.

d. NCE merit pass in Technical Education

  e. Engineering Technicians Part II Certificate.
