In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Industrial Technical Education under the Faculty of Education in the above listed universities include;

(i) YABATECH (DEG) requires English Language, Mathematics and any other two (2) subjects from: Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Geography, Economics, Applied Electricity, Auto Body Repairs Spray Painting, Auto Electricity Work, Auto Mechanical Work/Mechanics, Metal Work, Machine Wood Work, Technical Drawing, Furniture Making/Upholstery, Welding & Fabrication/Engineering Craft Practice, Building Construction and Electrical Installation & Maintenance Work
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Industrial Technical Education;
You require;Five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include Physics or Mathematics. .
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNN requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include Physics or Mathematics at GCE/SSC, NTC, City and Guilds intermediate in addition to the UTME entry requirements.
(ii) YABATECH (DEG) requires Five (5) O Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Geography, Economics, Applied Electricity, Auto Body Repairs Spray Painting, Auto Electricity Work, Auto Mechanical Work/Mechanics, Metal Work, Machine Wood Work, Technical Drawing, Furniture Making/Upholstery, Welding & Fabrication/Engineering Craft Practice, Building Construction and Electrical Installation & Maintenance Work..
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Industrial Technical Education, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;(i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Physics and Mathematics.
(ii) ND lower credit in Civil Engineering, Production/Electrical Engineering.
(iii) Final City and Guilds or it's equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.
(iv) NCE credit in Technical Education plus 'O' Level credit passes in Physics or Mathematics
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNN accepts
a. two (2)'A' Level passes in Physics and Mathematics in addition to departmental UTME requirements.
b.ND lower credit in Civil Engineering, Production/Elect. Engineering, Drafting Technology.
c. Final City and Guilds or it's equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.
d. NCE merit pass in Technical Education
e. Engineering Technicians Part II Certificate.
(ii) YABATECH (DEG) accepts Two (2) A-Level passes in Physics and Mathematics.
ND lower credit in Civil Engineering, Production/Electrical Engineering, Drafting Technology
Final City and Guilds or it's equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.
NCE credit in Technical Education plus O Level credit passes in Physics or Mathematics. Engineering Technicians Part II Certificate Candidates with UNN Diploma at Distinction/Credit/Merit in the Following: Computer Education, Physics/Mathematics, and Computer Science.
