SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
1. NDU requires Biology for Guidance and Counseling.
2. AAU: For B.A. (ED.) options, 'O' Level pass in Mathematics is acceptable. English Education requires 'O' Level credit pass in Literature in English. French Education requires 'O' Level credit pass in French. History Education requires 'O' Level credit pass in History/ Government while Religious Studies requires 'O' Level credit pass in Christian Religious Studies or Islamic/Arabic Studies.
4. EBSU accepts any three (3) of Literature-in-English, History, Geography, Economics, Mathematics and Government.
O'level Requirements
Five SSCE credits in English Language, the subject of study and three relevant subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
1 NDU requires Biology for Guidance and Counseling, Mathematics and Economics for Educational Administration option.
2 ESUT and EBSU require five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) Arts subjects.
3. EBSU accepts:
a) five (5) SSC credits passes to include English, Mathematics and Economics, Igbo/CRS, Govt, Commerce & Biology or
b) five (5) TC II Merit passes to include English Language and Mathematics.

Direct Entry Requirements

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
1. ESUT accepts ND/NCE for a three (3)-year programme. Candidates with merit in all subjects at NCE will register for a two (2)-year programme. Candidates admitted into the department will be required to take one (1) teaching subject.
2. UNICAL accepts NCE merit/credit passes in relevant subject.
3. AAU accepts a pass in General English at NCE levels as an equivalent of credit pass in O/L English Language
4. NDU accepts:
Direct Entry Applicants into 300 Level in a 4-year Degree Programme
a.NCE credit or higher in two (2) major subjects in relevant areas.
b.HND Certificate with passes at credit level or higher in a relevant programme.
c.For B.Ed Technology programme Holders of NCE and HND credit or higher in the relevant programme.
Direct Entry Applicants into 200 Level in a 4-year Degree Programme
a.Two(2) ‘A’ Level passes in relevant subjects.
b.ND credit or upper credit in a relevant programme.
c.NCE merit in two (2) relevant subjects.
d.For B.Ed Technology programme, holders of NCE, City and Guilds, NBC/NTC merit in relevant subjects.
5. EBSU accepts HND, NCE and ND with a minimum of Merit and Upper credit respectively in the relevant fields.
