Subject Combination JAMB UTME Requirements

Any three(3) of Literature. In English, History, French, Geography/Physics, Economics and Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) UNICAL accepts any three (3) of Literature in English, History/Government, Geography, Economics, Christian Religious Studies and Mathematics. 

(ii) FUK requires Any three of Literature in English, History, French, Geography, Physics, Economics and Mathematics.

O'level Requirements

(i)   Five (5)'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and Economics.
(ii)  Five (5) TC II merit including English Language and Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

 (i) UNICAL does not insist on credit pass in Economics.

 (ii)  ABU accepts  Five ‘O’ level credit passes in Arts & Social Sciences including English Language and Mathematics.TC II with Five Credit including English Language with at least a pass in Mathematics.

(iii) FUK requires Five Credits at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English, Mathematics, Economics and any other two Arts or Social Science Subjects.

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Educational Administration and Planning in the Faculty of Education are as follows:

(i) Two (2)'A' Level passes from Literature in English, History, Christian Religious Studies/Islamic Studies, Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo with 'O' Level pass in Mathematics.
(ii)  NCE merit in the subjects listed above.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

 

(i) UNICAL requires three (3) years post NCE qualification experience plus the 'O' Level credit passes in English Language and Mathematics

(ii) ABU accepts ABU Diploma in Administration and Planning or related field with minimum of Merit. NCE with Merit in Education and C in one of the Combination. Two ‘A’ Level/IJMB passes in any two Subjects.

(iii) FUK accepts Two A’ Level credit passes in relevant teaching subjects, NCE/Dip. with credit or merit passes in two relevant subjects of Arts & Social Sciences.
