(i) ABU requires Any three (3) of Yoruba, Literature in English, Christian Religious studies, History, Economics and Islamic Studies.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education and Language Arts;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language plus four (4) subjects from Economics, Geography/Physics, Government, Home Economics, History, Arabic, Social Studies, Fine Arts, Music and Literature in English.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) OAU requires 'O' Level credit passes in Literature in English, Yoruba or French.
(ii) ABU requires Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language plus four (4) subjects from Economics, Geography/Physics, Government, Home Economics, History, Arabic, Social Studies, Fine Arts, Music and Literature in English.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Language Arts, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;Two (2) relevant NCE/’A’ level passes.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) OAU requires 'A' Level passes to include Literature in English and Yoruba or French. Accepts Associateship Certificate of the University with a merit or its equivalent and the UTME requirements.
(ii) ABU accepts Two (2) relevant NCE/A Level passes.
