O'level Requirements

Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language and Literature in English plus three other Arts or Social Science subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS


(i) UNIBEN requires five (5)'O' Level credit passes to include English Language and other subjects from Literature in English, History, French, Fine Arts, Government, and Religious Studies.

(ii) UNIABUJA requires five (5) `O` level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English, and two (2) other Arts subjects.

(iii) GOUI requires 'O' Level credit pass in Mathematics but Literature in English is not compulsory.

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Education and English Language and Literature in the Faculty of Education are as follows:

1. Two 'A' level passes in relevant teaching subjects including Literature in English.

2. NCE with credit or merit passes in two relevant subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS


UNIBEN accepts two (2) 'A' Level passes plus the UTME requirements, two (2) or three (3) NCe merit including English Language plus three (3) or two (2) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language and any of Literature in English, Religious Studies, Fine Arts, French, History or Government at one (1) sitting.
