You require;Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language and Literature in English plus three other Arts or Social Science subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIBEN requires five (5)'O' Level credit passes to include English Language and other subjects from Literature in English, History, French, Fine Arts, Government, and Religious Studies.
(ii) UNIABUJA requires five (5) `O` level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English, and two (2) other Arts subjects.
(iii) GOUI requires 'O' Level credit pass in Mathematics but Literature in English is not compulsory.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and English Language and Literature, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;1. Two 'A' level passes in relevant teaching subjects including Literature in English.
2. NCE with credit or merit passes in two relevant subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
UNIBEN accepts two (2) 'A' Level passes plus the UTME requirements, two (2) or three (3) NCe merit including English Language plus three (3) or two (2) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language and any of Literature in English, Religious Studies, Fine Arts, French, History or Government at one (1) sitting.
