You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and one (1) other subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) AAUA and UNN accept 'O' Level pass in Mathematics or its equivalent.
(ii) OOU accepts a pass in English Language.
(iii) DELSU accepts SSC 'O’ Level with credit passes in at least five (5) subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry or Geography, and Biology.
(iv) EBSU accepts five (5) SSC credit passes to include Mathematics, English Language and three (3) other science subjects.
(iv) ABU accepts:
(a) TC II and requires two (2) other relevant Science subjects.
(b) Five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and one (1) other subject from Physics or Geography.
(v) IMSU requires Biology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics.
(vi) ABU requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes in Biology, Mathematics, English language and Chemistry and any other from physics or Geography.TC II credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science and any other two subjects.
(vii) UNIUYO requires at least five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics .
(viii) UMYU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes which must include Mathematics, English Language, Biology, and any other two (2) Science subjects.
(ix) BOWEN does not accept Agricultural Science as another Science subject.
(x) TASUED requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at one sitting or six (6) 'O' Level credit passes at two (2) sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and either Physics or Geography.
(xi) OAU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes which must include English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and one (1) other subject.
(xii) UNIOSUN requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology to form the core subjects, with credit passes in two (2) other relevant Science subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
(xiii) AAUA requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Biology, Mathematics, and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, and Agricultural Science.
(xiv) UNILAG accepts Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and any one of Physics, Agricultural Science, Health Science.
(x) FUDMA accepts Five ‘O’ level Credits to include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any one of Physics, Geography, Health Science or Agric. Science. A pass in Physics will be accepted.
(xvi) LCU accepts 'O' Level credit passes at SSC or its equivalent in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other subject.
(xvii) UNILORIN requires Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and any other science subject.
(xviii) MAUTECH accepts Five (5) O'level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any two from Chemistry, Physics, Agric. Science, Further Maths, physics Education, Health education, geography, Food & Nutrition, Civic Education.
(xix) FUK requires Five credit passes in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and any of Geography or Physics
(xx) UNIPORT requires Five (5) O Level credits passes in English Language, Biology, Physics or Chemistry and any other two (2) subjects from Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics.
(xxi) YABATECH requires Five (5) O'Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other two Science Subjects.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Biology, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;NCE/'A' Level passes in Biology and one (1) other Science subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UDUSOK require 'O' Level pass in Physics or Mathematics.
(ii) UDUSOK requires 'A’ Level passes in either Physics or Mathematics.
(iii) BSU, IMSU, ABSU and UNIABUJA require NCE not below merit.
(iv) UNICAL accepts NCE credit or merit in Biology and one (1) other science subject.
(v) RSU and FUTMINNA accept ND/HND lower credit and NCE merit in addition to four (4) relevant UTME subjects.
(vi) UNILAG accepts NCE with credit/merit in Biology and any Science subject. Very good passes in the following JUPEB subjects: Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
(vii) UNIJOS accepts NCE General English in lieu of 'O' Level English Language and Geography/Physics as a Science subject.
(viii) ADSU requires NCE/HND merit/credit in relevant subjects/programmes.
(ix) EKSU accepts a pass in NCE General English in lieu of 'O' Level credit in English Language.
(x) ABU accepts NCE with ‘C’ grade in Education and Biology. IJMB or ‘A’ level passes with ‘C’ grade in Biology and ‘D’ in one other Science subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science or Geography. ABU Diploma in Biology Education with a minimum of merit pass.
(xi) UNIBEN requires 'A' Level passes with two (2) or three (3) NCE merit to include Biology plus three (3) or two (2) 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language at one (1) sitting.
(xii) DELSU requires;
a) At least merit passes and above in Biology at NCE or above and in either Chemistry or Geography.
b) Merit in DELSU Diploma in Biology Education.
(xiii) ATBU accepts NCE pass with five (5) years teaching experience.
(xvi) AAUA requires three (3) NCE merit in Education, Biology and one (1) relevant teaching Science subject.
(xvii) NSUK accepts ND in Science Education from ABU and any other recognized institution.
(xviii) UMYU accepts candidates with a minimum of 9 points in IJMB/HSC/GCE ‘A’ Level/NCE in Biology and any other relevant subject. Candidates with a minimum of lower credit pass in Diploma in Biology Education from recognized institutions may also be admitted.
(xvix) BOWEN accepts 'A' Level, IJMB/NCE/ND or its equivalent in Biology, Botany and Chemistry.
(xvx) UNIOSUN accepts NCE credit.
(xvxi) UNILORIN accepts;
a) At least two (2) ‘A’ Level Credit pass in Biology and any other science-related subjects (i.e. Chemistry, Physics or Integrated science, computer science). (Minimum of 6 points in IJMB or JUPEP is also acceptable).
b) NCE (Distinction/ Merit pass) in Education, Biology and Chemistry or Integrated science: Plus five “O” Level credit passes ( English Language, Biology, Chemistry Mathematics and any other relevant science subjects).
(xvxii) OAU accepts two (2) 'A' Level passes or NCE credit/merit in Biology, Botany or Zoology and one (1) other Science or professional subject, 'A' Level pass or NCE credit/merit in Agricultural Science double major or combined with any teaching/professional subject
(xiv) IAUED requires 'A' Level passes in Biology/Botany or Zoology and Chemistry or Physics. It accepts NCE OR ND credits
(xv) FUAM accepts ND upper credit in relevant programmes in addition to the UTME requirements.
(xv) FUK requires At least two A’ Level credit passes in Botany, Zoology and Chemistry or Physics. Credit passes in NCE, ND and IJMB in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
(xvi) TASUED requires two (2) 'A' Level passes/NCE Science subjects to include Biology. ND/HND upper credit in the following specialization:
a) Science Laboratory Technology-option in Biology, Chemistry AND Microbiology.
b) Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry
c) Food Technology
(xviii) SSU accepts Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) or Diploma in Science Education with a minimum of merit.
(xvii) FUDMA accepts Two ‘A’ level passes in Botany/Zoology/ Biology and Chemistry. ND/NCE with good grades in any relevant field.
(xviii) EBSU accepts:
a) two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer, Mathematics or Integrated Science.
b)HND and NCE/OND with minimum of Merit and Upper credit respectively.
(xix) UYO requires;
a) NCE in relevant subject(s) with an overall merit pass or above, for a three-year degree programme.
b) Advanced level GCE or JUPEB in two (2) relevant subjects.
c) National Diploma in Educational Technology (DET) (minimum of lower credit level) in any area related to Biology Education.
(xx) MAUTECH accepts NCE At Credit Passe in Biology or any relevant Field. IJMB/'A' level Credits Passes in Biology and one relevant Science subject.
(xxi) UNIPORT accepts Two (2) A/level GCE or HSC or JUPEB or IJMB passes in the relevant subjects including UTME entry requirements. NCE with Credit passes in the relevant subjects including UTME entry requirements.
(xxii) YABATECH accepts NCE/A Level passes in Biology and one (1) other Science subject.
