Subject Combination JAMB UTME Requirements
Arabic and any two (2) relevant Arts/Social Science subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIMAID requires Arabic and two (2) subjects from Arts.
(ii) UMYU requires Arabic and any other two (2) Arts or Social Science subjects.
(iii) UNILORIN requires Arabic, Islamic Studies, and any other art subject.
(iv) Use of English, Arabic, and any other 2 arts or social science subjects.
(v) FED-KASHERE requires Arabic and any two relevant subjects from Arts or Social Science.
O'level Requirements
Five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Arabic.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) ABU accepts Five “O” Level credits passes including English Language and Arabic.
(ii) UMYU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at SSC, HIS, and SIS in English Language, Mathematics, Arabic and any other two (2) Arts or Social Science subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
(iii) UNIABUJA and LASU require five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include Mathematics, Arabic, and English Language.
(iv) UNILORIN accepts five (5) ‘O’ Level, GCE/SSCE/NECO/ NABTEB/SIS/Equivalent credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Arabic, and any other three Arts subjects.
(v) FED-KASHERE requires Five credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English, Mathematics, subject of specialization, and any other two (2) Arts or Social Science subjects.
Direct Entry Requirements
Two (2) 'A' Level passes or NCE in relevant subjects including Arabic.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UMYU accepts candidates with a minimum of 9 points in IJMB/HSC/GCE ‘A’ Level/NCE in Arabic and any other relevant subject. Candidates with a minimum of Lower Credit pass in Diploma in Arabic Education from recognized institutions may also be admitted.
(ii) ABU accepts “A” Level passes / IJMB in at least two subjects which must include Arabic. ABU Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies with a minimum of Merit pass. NCE with a minimum of “C” grade in Arabic.
(iii) UNILORIN accepts NCE in Arabic Studies and one Arts Subject; Diploma in Arabic Studies with at least Lower credit. Two A/L Passes to include Arabic Studies.
(iv) FED-KASHERE accepts Two 'A' Level credit passes in relevant subjects or ND/NCE/Diploma with a minimum of 9 point
