Adult Education and Community Development can be studied under the Education in the following Nigerian Universities;
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Adult Education and Community Development under the Faculty of Education in the above listed universities include;
Government/History, one (1) Social Science subject and any other subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARK
(i) ABU requires Use of English and any subjects.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Adult Education and Community Development;
You require;Five (5) 'O' Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics and three (3) of Literature in English, History, French, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Geography/Physic, Economics and Government or TC II with pass in English Language and four (4) other subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARK
(i) ABU accepts Five ‘O’ level credit passes in Arts & Social Sciences including English Language and Mathematics. TC II with Five Credit including English Language with at least a pass in Mathematics.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Adult Education and Community Development, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;(i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes.
(ii) NCE merit in two (2) subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARK
(ii) ABU accepts ABU Diploma in Adult Education with minimum of Merit. NCE with Merit in Education and C in one of the Combination. Two ‘A’ Level/IJMB passes in any two Subjects.
