In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Economics and Development Studies under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;
Economics, Mathematics and any of Government, History, Geography, Literature in English, French and CRS/IRS.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Economics and Development Studies;
You require;Five (5) SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and at least two (2) other relevant subjects from Commerce, Government and Accounting .
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Economics and Development Studies, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;ND/NCE with upper/merit credit in the relevant programme in addition to five (5) credit passes at SSC at not more than two (2) sittings
