Modern and European Language can be studied under the Arts & Humanities in the following Nigerian Universities;
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Modern and European Language under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;
French and any other two (2) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIZIK accept any three (3) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences
(ii) UNIZIK accepts any three (3) Arts or Social Science subject. French is not compulsory
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Modern and European Language;
You require;Five (5) SSCE credit passes including French and English Language plus one (1) other Arts subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIZIK accepts five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, French and two (2) other Arts subjects and one Social Science subject.
(ii) UNIZIK accept candidates with no previous knowledge of French. UNIZIK gives accelerated course in French in the first year
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Modern and European Language, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;Two (2) ‘A’ level passes including French and one (1) other Arts subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIZIK accepts NCE to include a pass in French and accepts Baccalaureat de l’enseignement – merite secondaire or equivalent.
(ii) UNIZIK accept NCE plus ‘O’ Level credit pass in English Language.
