UNILAG requires five (5) 'O' level credits passes to include English Language, Mathematics and three (3) other subjects from Arts, Sciences or Social Sciences. Social Studies and Civic Education are also accepted.

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Linguistics with Igbo / Yoruba in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities are as follows:

Two (2) ‘A’ level passes or NCE to include any Language, preferably an African Language.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

UNILAG requires very good passes in three (3) JUPEB 'A' level subjects:
a) Yoruba/Igbo and any two (2) of History, CRS/IS, French, Government, Music, Visual Arts and LiteratureinEnglish.
b) NCE merit in two (2) subjects to include a Nigerian Language.
c) Candidates must also satisfy the UTME requirements.
