Subject Combination JAMB UTME Requirements
Any Language and two (2) other subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) ABSU accepts one Arts and two (2) other subjects.
(ii) UNIPORT requires one Art and two (2) other subjects from Literature in English, History/Government, CRK/IRK, Economics, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Physics, Igbo/Hausa/Yoruba, Fine Art, Geography, Commerce.
(iii) UNIOSUN accepts any three (3) Arts subjects.
O'level Requirements
Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNIPORT requires Five (5) SSC credits in English Language and any other four (4) subjects from Literature in English, History/Government, CRK/IRK, Economics, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Physics, Igbo/Hausa/Yoruba, Fine Art, Geography, Commerce.
(ii) UNIOSUN require 'O' Level credit pass in Literature in English
Direct Entry Requirements
Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes or NCE to include any Language, preferably an African Language.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) UNICAL accepts ND/NCE in Linguistics, Foreign Language or any Nigerian language.
(ii) UNIPORT accepts Two (2) Advanced level Passes in GCE or HSC or JUPEB or IJMB in the Arts subjects including English Language, in addition to UTME entry requirements. NCE in two (2) Arts subjects including English Language, with an overall merit level Pass from a recognized College of Education, in addition to UTME entry requirements.
(iii) UNIOSUN requires ‘A’ Level pass in Literature in English. It also accepts ND lower credit Mass Communication and approved equivalent in Communication programme.
