History and Archaology can be studied under the Arts & Humanities in the following Nigerian Universities;
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study History and Archaology under the Faculty of Arts & Humanities in the above listed universities include;
History/ Government, Religious Studies and any other two (2) subjects.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study History and Archaology;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language and any one of Religious Studies, Economics and History.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT (WAIVER) REMARKS:
TASU – Literature in English is not compulsory

You require;Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Arts, Social Sciences or Sciences subjects.
