Subject Combination JAMB UTME Requirements

Any three (3) Arts or Social Science subjects.

O'level Requirements

Five (5) SSCE credit passes or equivalent including English  Language, Literature in English, Arts/ Music depending on the combination.
 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

UI requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at one sitting or six (6) 'O' Level credit passes at two (2) sittings to include English Language, Literature in English and any other three (3) or four (4) subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Sciences. Note that Government and Economics are not Arts subjects

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Communication and Language Arts in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities are as follows:

 

Two ‘A’ Level passes or equivalent in Arts or Social Science subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

UI accepts ND upper credit Mass Communication plus 'O' Level credit pass in Literature in English; accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes to include Literature in English and one other Arts or Social Science subject.
