Home Science can be studied under the Agriculture in the following Nigerian Universities;
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Home Science under the Faculty of Agriculture in the above listed universities include;
Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture and Mathematics or Physics
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) UNN requires Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and one (1) of Physics/Mathematics, Economics or Geography.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Home Science;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes including Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, and at least 'O' Level pass in English Language and Physics. General Metal Work, General Wood Work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Furniture Design and Construction, Upholstery Design and Construction, Spray Painting and Period Furniture, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing, Bleaching, Dyeing, and Finishing and Basic Electricity.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) UNN In addition to the UTME requirements, requires 'O' Level credit passes in Chemistry, Biology or Food and Nutrition or Agricultural Science.
(ii) KSU requires credit passes at SSC in English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Mathematics, Nutrition/Home Economics, and at least 'O' Level pass in Physics.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Home Science, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes or equivalents in Chemistry and Biology/Botany Agricultural Science/ Economics/Physics/ Mathematics/Geography/Accounting.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS
UNN accepts;
(i) Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Chemistry and any of Biology/Botany/Zoology/Agricultural Science. Economics, Physics Geography/Geology, Mathematics (Pure & Applied) in addition to the UTME requirements.
(ii) ND/NCE/HND and Degree in Agricultural Science/Animal Health and related programs with a minimum of lower credit/merit in addition to UTME requirements.
