O'level Requirements

Five SSCE credit passes to include Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, English Language and at least a pass in Physics.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) FUTA requires at least five (5) credit passes at SSC or its equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings in English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Mathematics, Physics/Economics/Geography. At least a pass in Physics is required.

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Forestry and Wood Technology in the Faculty of Agriculture are as follows:

Two ‘A’ level passes from Physics, Chemistry and Biology at one sitting.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) FUTA accepts

(a) ND upper credit or its equivalent, or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Forestry or Agriculture from recognised institutions.

(b) ‘A’ Level or its equivalent passes at one (1) sitting with at least six (6) points in at least two (2) of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

(c) NCE credit in Agriculture Double Major and at credit pass level.
