SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:

(i) FUDMA requires Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and Physics or Mathematics.

O'level Requirements

Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric, Science, Physics, Basic Catering and Food Services, Bakery and Confectioneries, Hotel & Catering Crafty course (Cookery), Hotel & Catering Craft Course (Food /Drinks Services) and Basic Electricity.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:

(i) UNILORIN requires 'O' Level pass in Physics, and also 'O' Level pass in Biology for 'O' Level credit pass in Agricultural Science or Food and Nutrition

(ii) FED-DUTSINMA requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry/Forestry/Fisheries

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Food Science in the Faculty of Agriculture are as follows:

Two ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Physics/Agric Science/Botany/Zoology.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:

(i) UNILORIN requires candidates with 'O' Level pass in Biology, but who have 'O' Level credit pass in Agricultural Science may be considered. 'O' Level pass in Physics is acceptable in lieu of 'O' Level credit pass.

(ii) FUDMA requires;

(a) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science.

(b) IJMB in relevant subjects.

(c) NCE/ND with at least merit in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry and one (1) of Biology/Agric. Science.
