Subject Combination JAMB UTME Requirements

Chemistry, Biology/ Agricultural Science plus Mathematics or Physics.

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS

(ii) TSU and UNICAL require Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and either Mathematics or Physics. TSU also accepts Economics.

(iii) MAUTECH requires Biology/Agric. Sc. and any other two (2) of Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Economics and Mathematics.

(iv) UNIPORT requires Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any one of Physics or Mathematics or Geography or Economics.

(v) JABU requires 'O' Level pass in Physics

O'level Requirements

Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and one of Geography, Physics and Economics.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) UNICAL requires 'O' Level credit pass in Physics

(ii) RSU requires 'O' Level credit pass in Agricultural Science with at least 'O' Level pass in Biology. Requires 'O' Level credit passes in Chemistry, Economics and Mathematics.

(iii) ESUT requires at least 'O' Level pass in Physics

(iv) UNIPORT requires Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any one of Physics, Geography and Economics.

 (v) LAUTECH requires 'O' Level credit passes in Biology and Physics

(vi) ABSU requires five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and one of Physics or Economics.

(vii) FUTMINNA accepts any one (1) of Physics, Geography, Economics, as the fifth subject. At least 'O' Level pass in Physics is required.

(viii) TSU accepts Statistics in lieu of Physics.

(ix) COOU requires five (5) 'O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any one of Mathematics, Physics, Geography and Economics.

(x) MAUTECH requires Five (5) O'Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and any one from Physics/Geography/Economics/Marketing.

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Agricultural Economics and Extension in the Faculty of Agriculture are as follows:

Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and one of Zoology/Botany/Agricultural Science/Biology, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Geology, Economics and Health Science.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) ABSU accepts ND/HND at credit level.

(ii) UNICAL - accepts

(a) two (2) 'A' level passes in any of Chemistry, Biology / Botany/Zoology/Agricultural Science/ Geography /Geology /Economics and Mathematics.

(b) HND, ND/NCE merit but does not accept IJMB and accepts at least ‘O’ level pass in Physics

(iii) EKSU and BSU accept ‘O’ level pass in Physics

(iv) UNIUYO accepts ND upper credit HND lower credit, NCE merit in relevant programs plus UTME requirements.

(v) MAUTECH accepts any of the following:

(a) GCE `A’ Level credit passes in Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Sc.

(b) OND/HND in Agric and other relevant field with a minimum of Lower Credit.

(c) IJMB with 7 points credit passes in Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science or Mathematics

(vii) RSU accepts ND upper credit HND/NCE at credit level in relevant subjects, plus UTME requirements into 200 level.

(viii) LAUTECH accepts ND upper credit/HND/NCE at credit level in relevant subjects, plus the UTME requirements.

(ix) TASU in addition to UTME requirements accepts

(a) 'A’ level passes to include Chemistry and any of Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics

(b) ND lower credit and NCE merit

(c) HND upper credit and NCE Distinction

(x) EBSU accept;

a) two (2) 'A' level passes in Chemistry and one from Biology/Botany/ Zoology/Agric Science, Economics, Physics, Geography and Geology/ Mathematics (Pure and Applied)

b) NCE with minimum merit passes in relevant subjects

c) HND and OND with minimum of upper credit in relevant programs.

(xi) UNIPORT accepts Two (2)  A/level GCE or HSC or JUPEB or IJMB passes in Agricultural Science and any one from Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Economics including UTME entry requirements. OND (Upper Credit) in Agriculture from a recognized Institution including UTME entry requirements. HND with at least a (Lower Credit) from a recognised institution, including UTME entry requirements for a 3-year degree programme. Diploma in Agriculture from a recognised institution with minimum of Credit Pass, including UTME entry requirements
