(i) OAU requires Mathematics, Government, and one (1) from Economics/Geography/ History, Accounting.

O'level Requirements

Five (5) SSCE credit passes including English Language, Government or History, Economics and any other two (2) subjects and at least a pass in Mathematics

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:

(i) OAU requires English Language, Mathematics, Government/Economics and two (2) from Biology, Chemistry, History, Geography, Accounting/Book Keeping, Civic Education, Literature in English, Agricultural Science and any Nigerian Language

Direct Entry Requirements

The direct entry requirements for Local Government Administration in the Faculty of Administration are as follows:

Two (2) 'A' level/IJMB passes one (1) of which must include Government or History.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:

(i) OAU accepts
a) two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics, Government, History or Geography.
b) ND upper credit in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics and Accountancy or University Diploma in Public Administration or Local Government with merit pass.
c) holders of ND in Local Government Studies from recognized Institutions at upper credit Level (CGPA - 3.5 and above)
d) in addition to a and b, applicants must have at least five (5) 'O' level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Government, and any other two (2) relevant subjects from Social Sciences or Arts subjects obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.
