In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Social Development under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences in the above listed universities include;
Government or History and any two (2) of Economics, Commerce, Geography and Mathematics
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Social Development;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language not Literature in English and Mathematics and any three (3) subjects from the following:

Government,
Biology/Agricultural Science,
Chemistry,

History/Government
Typewriting
Shorthand.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
i) PLAPOLY - five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language and any two (2) from CRS/IS, Economics/Commerce, Geography, Government/History, Biology and Health Science
ii) KANOPOLY accepts Certificate in Social Welfare or Community Development of KAN-POLY plus five (5) relevant credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Economics, Accounts, Government/History, Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Commerce.
iv) COABS accepts Certificate Course of the College or from any recognised institution OR any other qualification recognised by the College Academic Board.
v) SICHSTMAKARFI accepts 'O' Level credit passes in Home Management/Home Economics and Religious Studies.
vi) RUGIPO also accepts three (3) 'O' Level credit passes from Civic Education, Tourism, Office Practice, Information and Communication Technology, Data Processing, Basic Electricity, Islamic Studies, Christian Religious Studies and Health Science.
