In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Welding and Fabrication Technology under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above Universities include;

O'Level Requirements


The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Welding and Fabrication Technology;

You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and any two (2) subjects from Biology/ Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Technology), Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography, Economics/ Commerce. At least a credit pass in English Language is required. 

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:

i) DSPG accepts 'O' Level Biology, Statistics, Woodwork, Fine Art, Metalwork, Further Mathematics and Agricultural Science.

ii) YABATECH - requires credit pass in one (1) of the following as course requirement: Agricultural Science or Biology, Technical Drawing, Basic, Electronics, Basic Electricity, Further Mathematics, Auto Mechanics, Geography.

iii)  OSUNPO accepts 'O' Level credit passes in Civic Education/Government, Welding/Auto Part Merchandizing, and Computer Studies/ICT/Data Processing.
