In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Quantity Surveying under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above listed universities include;
Any three (3) of Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Biology/Agricultural Science
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
i) IMTE requires Economics, Biology/Agricultural Science.
ii) AKANUPOLY accepts any three (3) 'O' Level credit passes in Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Biology/Agricultural Science and Chemistry.
iii) BAUCHIPOLY requires any three (3) subjects from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics/Geography, Fine Art and Technical Drawing.
iv) YABATECH accepts Mathematics, Physics and any one (1) from: Geography, Economics, Biology/Agricultural Science and Chemistry.
v) OFFAPOLY requires any three (3) of Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Biology/Agricultural Science.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Quantity Surveying;
You require;Five (5) SSCE credit passes in Mathematics and Physics and any three (3) of the following Economics/Commerce, Technical Drawing/Fine Arts, Chemistry, Geography, Further Mathematics Woodwork, Biology, Religious Knowledge, Metal Work, and 'O' Level credit pass in English Language is Compulsory. 'O' Level pass in Art or Technical Drawing is required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
i) YABATECH requires Five (5) O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) of the following: Economics/Commerce, Technical Drawing/Fine Arts, Chemistry, Geography, Further Mathematics, Woodwork/Metal Work, Biology/Agric. Science and Building Construction.
ii) IBADANPOLY also requires a credit pass in one (1) Basic Science subject, but does not accept Commerce as part of its course requirements.
iii) OKOPOLY City & Guilds 'O' Level/'A' Level GCE Technical Certificate.
iv) AUCHIPOLY requires credits in six (6) subjects at not more than two (2) sittings or five (5) credit passes at one (1) sitting.
v) OFFAPOLY does not accept Biology/Agricultural Science.
vi) FIDEIPOLY and KADPOLY require 'O' Level pass in English Language and 'O' Level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry and two (2) of Economics, Technical Drawing/Art, Chemistry, Geography, Woodwork, Biology, Building Construction or Religious Knowledge as course requirement. It requires Mathematics, Physics and any one (1) of Economics, Geography or Chemistry as UTME subjects.
vii) DELTAPOLY requires Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Chemistry as UTME subjects.
viii) FEDPOBID requires Physics/Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.
ix) PLAPOLY requires 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any one (1) of chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Geography, Economics, Technical Drawing.
x) KWARAPOLY accepts five (5) credit passes in Biology/Agricultural Science, Building Construction, Brick Laying/Block Laying, Concreting, Walls/Floor, Ceiling Finishing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas/Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold and Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.
xi) RUGIPO requires a pass in English Language.
xii) EDEPOLY requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two (2) of the following: Economics, Technical Drawing/Fine Art, Chemistry, Geography, Further Mathematics, Woodwork, Biology, Building Construction
xiii) AKANUPOLY requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry and any two (2) of the following Economics, Geography, Biology, technical drawing and Agricultural Science.
xiv) ILAROPOLY requires 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two of the following Economics/Commerce, Building Construction, Technical Drawing/Graphics Design, Civic Education, Carpentry and Joinery, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, Painting and Decoration, Wood work to IED, Computer Studies, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Further Mathematics, Religious Knowledge, Metal Work, Basic Electronics, Introduction to Building Construction, Financial Accounting, Draughtsmanship/ Graphic Design, Machine WoodWorking, Computer Studies, Computer Craft Studies, Furniture Making, Electrical Installation & Maintenance Work, Welding and Fabrication A pass in Technical Drawing and or Building Construction will be an advantage.
xv) BAUCHIPOLY requires Physics Mathematics, and any three (3) subjects from Economics/Commerce, Technical Drawing/Fine Art, Chemistry, Geography, Further Mathematics, Woodwork, Biology, Religious Knowledge, Metal Work. A credit pass in English Language is compulsory. A pass in Art or Technical Drawing will be an advantage.
xvi) TOPS accepts 'O' Level credit pass in Chemistry or Physics.
