In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Marine Engineering Technology under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above listed universities include;

The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Marine Engineering Technology;
You require;Five (5) SSCE credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and any two (2) subjects from
Biology/Agricultural Science
Technical Drawing,
Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity,
Auto Mechanics,
Metal Work,
Woodwork for Civil Engineering Technology,
Further Mathematics
English Language,
Geography,
Economics/Commerce.
For Marine Engineering and Industrial Safety & Environmental Engineering. 'O' Level pass in Biology is required.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
i) FEDFISH-LAG requires 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any one (1) from Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Biology/Agricultural Science and Geography.
ii) YABATECH requires five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and any one (1) subjects from the following in not more than two (2) sittings: Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Statistics, Food and Nutrition, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics/ Commerce. O Level credit passes in English Language and Biology is required.
iii) MAN-ORON requires five (5) credit passes at O/Level (WASC, GCE, NECO or NABTEB ) in not more than two (2) sittings. Subjects include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other related Science subject. Candidate(s) should not be more than 21 years old and Not less than 16 years old at the time of admission and shall be single and remain single throughout the duration of the programme.
