In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Civil Engineering Technology under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above listed universities include;

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS
i) KANO-POLY requires Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
ii) EDE POLY does not accept Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Economics/ Commerce, Wood Work/Auto Mechanics and Metal Work.
iii) ILARO POLY requires Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Technical Drawing.
iv) YABATECH requires Mathematics, Physics and Technical Drawing or Chemistry.
v) BAUCHI POLY requires Mathematics, Physics and any one subject from Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography and Technical Drawing.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS
i) AUCHIPOLY, and IDAH POLY require 'O' Level credit in Chemistry.
ii) IMT requires four (4) 'O' Level credit passes at one (1) sitting or five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at two (2) sittings and offers it as Civil Engineering.
iii) SARO-WIWA POLY requires 'O' Level credit pass in English Language.
iv) YABATECH requires five (5) O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and any one (1) subjects from: Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing/Fine Art,Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics/Commerce, Bricklaying & Concrete Work and Building Construction.
v) FEDPO-ADO accepts 'O' Level credit pass in Geography or Economics.
vi) AKANU POLY accepts 'O' Level credit passes from Technical Drawing, Economics, Geography, Basic Electronics/Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work and Wood Work.
vii) DELTA requires 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics & any other subject from Biology/Agricultural Science/Technical Drawing.
viii) OFFA POLY accepts at least 'O' Level pass in Chemistry.
ix) IBADAN-POLY same as in Electrical/Electronics.

xii) KWARAPOLY accepts 'O' Level credit passes in Fine Art, Introduction to Building, Bricklaying & Block Laying, Concreting, Walls Floor and Ceiling Finishing, Joinery and Carpentry.
xiii) RUGIPO accepts 'O' Level credit pass in English Language.
xiv) BAUCHI POLY requires 'O' Level credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any subject from Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork, Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography, Economics/Commerce. For Marine Engineering and Industrial & safety Environmental Engineering, a pass in Biology is required. At least a credit pass in English language is required.
xv) OSUNPOLY accepts 'O' Level credit passes in Civic Education/Government, Welding/Auto Part Merchandizing, and Computer Studies/ICT/Data Processing.
xvi) EDEPOLY requires or its equivalent five (5) 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other one (1) subject from Biology, Further Mathematics, Geography, Technical Drawing, Building Construction, Block Laying, Bricklaying, Concerting and Woodwork. )
