Agricultural Technology can be studied under the Engineering, Environment & Technology in the following Nigerian Universities;
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Agricultural Technology under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above listed universities include;
Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any other Science subject
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
i) RUGIPO accepts Economics.
ii) BAUCHI POLY requires Chemistry and any two (2) subjects from Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics, Geography, Physics, Commerce or Mathematics.
iii) TOPS requires Mathematics.
iv) KAD-POLY requires any of Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any one (1) of Physics, Mathematics or Economics as the third (3rd) subject.
v) YABATECH requires Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science and any one from the following: Geography, Physics, Economics and Mathematics.
vi) LASPOTECH accepts any three (3) of Biology/Agricultural Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics and Geography.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Agricultural Technology;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes in Biology/Agricultural Science,
Mathematics and any three (3) of the following:
Geography,
Food and Nutrition,
Economics,
Technical Drawing,
English Language,
Physics,
Chemistry,
Nigerian Language,
Home Economics.
At least 'O' Level credit passes in English Language and Chemistry are compulsory.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
i) DELTAPOLY requires at least 'O' Level passes in English and Mathematics /Statistics.
ii). KAD-POLY requires 'O' Level credit passes in Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, English Language and any two (2) of Geography, Food & Nutrition, Economics/Commerce, Technical Drawing, Physics, Chemistry, Nigerian Language, Home Economics, French Language. At least 'O' Level pass in Chemistry is also required.
iii) YABATECH requires five (5) O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science and any one (1) of the following: Physics, Geography, Economics, Technical Drawing, Food & Nutrition, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.
iv) BUPOLY-HAD - requires Mathematics and any two (2) subjects from Physics, Geography, Biology/Agricultural Science and Economics as UTME subjects.
v) RUGIPO accepts 'O' Level passes in English Language and Physics.
vi) IBADAN POLY requires at least 'O' Level pass in English Language.
vii) FEDANIM-VOM - Same as in Animal Health and production Technology.
viii) BAUCHI POLY accepts 'O' level Credit passes in Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any three (3) from Geography, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Technical Drawing, Physics, Nigerian Language, Home Economics. Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics are compulsory.
ix) IMO-POLY requires at least 'O' Level passes in Chemistry and Statistics. Also requires 'O' Level credit in English Language Not Literature in English.
x) TOPS accepts Animal Husbandry In lieu of Agriculture.
xi) DELTA POLY requires 'O' Level credit passes in Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science.
