In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Insurance under the Faculty of Administration in the above listed universities include;
Mathematics and any two (2) of Economics, Geography, Commerce or Principles of Accounts.

i) IMT-ENU accepts Government and Geography.
ii) ILAROPOLY accepts Mathematics and any two of Economics, Geography, Commerce or Principle of Accounts, Government.
iii) OFFAPOLY requires Mathematics and any two of Economics, Geography, Commerce, Principles of accounts.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Insurance;
You require;Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language not Literature in English and Mathematics and any three (3) subjects from the following; Economics/Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Geography, Office Practice, Government, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History/Government, Typewriting and Shorthand
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS
i) TOPS and IBADANPOLY require credit pass in Economics or Commerce.
ii) LASPOTECH does not accept Literature in English as course requirement for Insurance.
iv) SARO-WIWA POLY accepts Mathematics and any two (2) of Economics, Government, Commerce or Principles of Accounts as UTME subjects.
v) IBADANPOLY requires credit pass in Economics or Commerce. Accepts CRS/IS and Yoruba as part of course requirements.
vi) ILAROPOLY requires 'O' Level credit passes in English Language (not Literature in English), Mathematics and any three subjects from the following: Economics/Commerce, Business Methods / Business Studies, Principles of Accounts / Book Keeping, Literature in English, Geography, Office Practice, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History/Government, Typewriting, Shorthand, Civic Education, Financial Accounting, French, Insurance, CRS/IRK, Marketing, Salesmanship, Store Keeping, Store Management, Computer Studies, Entrepreneurship Education and Social Studies.
vii) OFFAPOLY accepts Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce and any other two from insurance, Financial Accounting/Book Keeping Biology/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Geography, Government/Civic Education, Office Practice, Computer Science/ICT, Marketing, Business Method, Commerce.
