Agricultural Science and Education can be studied under the Education in the following Nigerian Universities;
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Agricultural Science and Education under the Faculty of Education in the above listed universities include;
Any three (3) subjects from Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Physics, Economics, Geography and Mathematics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARK
1. FCETOMOKU requires any three (3) subjects which must include Agricultural Science or Biology and Chemistry.
2. FCEASABA requires Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture Science and Economics/Geography.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Agricultural Science and Education;
You require;Five (5) 'O' Level credit passes or equivalents in English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultura l Science., Mathematics and another relevant subject.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARK
1. FCETOMOKU require 'O' Level credit passes in Agricultural Science or Biology plus 'O' Level pass in Chemistry in addition to the school requirements.
2. MOUAU requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Agric. Science, Chemistry and any other relevant subject
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Agricultural Science and Education, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;(i) Two (2) passes at 'A' Level in Biology /Zoology /Botany and any other Science subject.
(ii) NCE merit in Biology and any other Science subject.
(iii) NCE merit in Agriculture (Double Major)
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARK
1. ALVAN accepts NCE with the UTME requirements.
2. ALVAN accepts NCE Agricultural Science with five (5) 'O' Level credit passes or HND in Agriculture.
3. FCETOMOKU accepts in addition to the UTME requirements, a. NCE merit in Agricultural Science. b. 'A' Level passes in any two (2) of the following: Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics and Economics. c. ND credit in Agriculture or Animal Health from any Nigerian School of Agriculture.
